Thanks for the link - I&#039;m always looking for new patterns.Cabling without a cable needle works well for a lot of things, but I can&#039;t use the technique if the yarn is slick or if I&#039;m working very tightly.  I&#039;m not using a cable needle on my gansey - the yarn holds up really well to being slipped off a needle.</description>
