Guess who drew the face for the Jack o’ Lantern this year? For the first time Bubba really got into carving the pumpkin. Muskrat, of course, was in the middle of everything and wanting to carve and hack into the pumpkin. Surprisingly, we allowed the children to handle the cutting utensils. I am growing as a parent, I think. Terry has no problem with dangerous but rite of passage type activities. 
Trick or treating was a huge success. It is really warm here tonight – about 40 degrees as compared to last year’s 19 degrees. Muskrat was WAY excited about the whole thing.
Just call him Maverick. I know, you are shocked he was a fighter pilot for Halloween.
Maverick and Nemo. Together at last. Who knows if he is smiling underneath that mask.
Fun with glow sticks. We actually bought about 12 of these over the last two weeks.
Can we go get some candy now?
Oh my gosh! They look great. That Nemo hat may be a Hall of Famer. Fighter pilots get the chicks (Top Gun is the example) Double Snickers to both. Love and hugs
They look great! I looove the Maverick costume. Brilliant! He must have felt so cool. (Note: must show Liam that movie). And the hat! and the mittens! He’s adorable!
Great costumes! Love the Maverick costume, but still think the Nemo mittens – & hat – are too cute!
